On Monday, V D Satheesan officially assumed his role as Chief Minister of Kerala at the State Secretariat, marking a significant leadership shift. Following a brief tea gathering at Lok Bhavan, he proceeded to his office where he was formally congratulated by Kochi MLA Mohammed Shiyas.
The ceremonial assumption of office was further highlighted as staff members welcomed Satheesan with a bouquet, symbolizing a warm start to his tenure. Notably, this involved signing official documents to solidify his new position.
Scheduled to lead his first Cabinet meeting shortly, Satheesan, along with 20 other ministers, was earlier sworn into office at a ceremonious function held at the Central Stadium, setting a proactive governance tone for Kerala's newly formed administration.
