Seventeen IPS officers transferred in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan government has transferred 17 IPS officers, including seven district Superintendents of Police, in a late-night move on Tuesday.

The Rajasthan government has transferred 17 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including Superintendents of Police of seven districts.

The department of personnel issued the transfer list late Tuesday night.

Senior IPS officer Harendra Kumar Mahawar has been appointed as the new inspector general (IG) of Kota range. Mahawar was serving as IG, CID-CB.

IPS officer K B Vandana, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed inspector general, CID-Crime Branch.

The districts where SPs have been transferred are Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Didwana-Kuchaman, Nagaur, Tonk, Bharatpur and Dausa.
