French Parliament approves Macron's pick to run Bank of France

Emmanuel Moulin, President Macron's pick ‌to head the Bank of France, garnered ‌enough votes in parliament on Wednesday to be approved as the incoming governor ‌for that central bank.

Macron's rivals had accused him of installing loyalists in a bid to ensure his legacy and hedge against a possible win by the far-right National Rally in next year's presidential vote.
