Advocate Amrish Ranjan named communication in-charge of Rachnatmak Congress

The Rachnatmak Congress, formerly the Congress' Outreach Cell, on Sunday appointed advocate Amrish Ranjan Pandey as its communication in-charge, tasking him with the party's media outreach and public messaging.
Senior party leader and chairperson of the Rachnatmak Congress, Sandeep Dikshit, announced the appointment of Pandey, who practises in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court, and has been in the Congress ecosystem, having served as the national secretary of the Indian Youth Congress, a statement said.
He was also the national media in-charge and spokesperson for the Youth Congress and the National Students' Union of India, it said.
Over the past 10 years, Pandey has worked for the party's election campaigns in different states and has been involved in its outreach programmes, the statement said.
The Congress renamed its Outreach Cell as Rachnatmak Congress in December 2025 and appointed its former MP Dikshit as its chairperson.
According to the party, it aims to strengthen engagement with civil society groups, activists, academics, domain experts and issue-based organisations.
