AIADMK witnessed reconciliation among its factions after weeks of reported divisions. The faction led by S P Velumani, previously aligned against party chief Edappadi K Palaniswami, emphasized they were never split but had differing opinions. Velumani clarified there was no engineered division and denied claims of supporting the TVK government.
Velumani, along with other party members, met Palaniswami and expressed renewed support for him. Although C Ve Shanmugam's absence was noted, Velumani affirmed their unity. A letter was submitted to Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker J C D Prabhakar, declaring their intention to operate as a single entity in the Assembly, with Palaniswami agreeing to review the party's performance.
