Vellamandi R Natarajan, a former minister from the AIADMK, has officially joined the TVK party. According to sources on Thursday, this move aligns him with four other former AIADMK MLAs who recently transitioned to TVK.

Natarajan, who previously served as the Tourism Minister and was elected from the Tiruchirappalli East constituency in 2016, recently met with Bussy N Anand, TVK's general secretary, to solidify his switch. Previously, Natarajan had supported O Panneerselvam during intra-party conflicts and briefly returned to AIADMK earlier this year.
