The Sant Avtar Singh Memorial Hockey Stadium in Punjab saw the inauguration of a new astroturf by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. This step highlights the Aam Aadmi Party government's commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure across the state.

During the event, Mann accentuated Punjab's rapid progress in developing world-class schools, hospitals, roads, and sports facilities. He pointed to the significant environmental advances, such as groundwater recharge efforts increasing the water table in various areas.

Accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP and environmentalist Balbir Singh Seechewal, Mann paid respects at Village Seechewal during the commemoration of Sant Baba Avtar Singh's death anniversary. He spoke about Punjab's fertile land, rich cultural heritage, and the importance of unity against forces trying to sow discord.

By underscoring the social fabric's strength, Mann implored citizens to stand together and resist divisive forces seeking to destabilize the state's peace and harmony. He praised Baba Seechewal's environmental contributions, which have transformed arid lands into verdant landscapes, supporting Punjab's ecological balance.
