Hungary PM Magyar ready to meet Ukraine's Zelenskiy next week

Hungary's Prime Minister Peter Magyar is prepared to meet Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy next week if minority rights negotiations are completed this week.

Hungarian ​Prime ‌Minister Peter Magyar ​was ready to meet ‌Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy early next week if technical ‌negotiations on the rights of ‌the Hungarian minority are finished this week, Magyar said ⁠on ​Tuesday ⁠in Berlin.

Magyar, speaking at ⁠a press conference with ​German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, said ⁠that he was "optimistic" that the ⁠issue ​of minority rights can be solved ⁠and a new chapter can be ⁠opened ⁠in the relationship between Ukraine ‌and ‌Hungary.
