Japanese ‌Prime Minister Sanae ​Takaichi said on ‌Wednesday she did not believe that U.S. interest ‌towards the Indo-Pacific region ‌was declining.

Takaichi told a press conference at ⁠the ​G7 ⁠summit in the French lakeside ⁠resort of Evian-les-Bains that ​in talks with U.S. President ⁠Donald Trump, Japan ⁠confirmed ​it would continue close coordination on ⁠the situation in the ⁠Indo-Pacific, including ⁠China.
