Japan PM Takaichi: do not believe U.S. interest towards Indo-Pacific is declining

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said on Wednesday she did not believe that U.S. interest towards the Indo-Pacific region was declining.
Takaichi told a press conference at the G7 summit in the French lakeside resort of Evian-les-Bains that in talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, Japan confirmed it would continue close coordination on the situation in the Indo-Pacific, including China.
