EU remains committed to constructive relationship with Israel, Kallas says
The European Union's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, reaffirmed the EU's commitment to a constructive relationship with Israel despite Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar's decision to sever contact.

Kaja Kallas, the European Union's top diplomat, said on Thursday that the EU remains committed to a constructive relationship with Israel, after Israeli foreign minister Gideon Saar said he was severing all contact with her.
In a post on X addressed to Saar, Kallas said: "I value our dialogue and engagement, and I'm open to continue in that spirit, respectfully and constructively."
Kallas said the EU remained committed to the two-state solution and reiterated that the EU has condemned Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
