1 killed as Congress and TMC workers engage in violence in Bengal's Murshidabad

A man standing in a queue to vote was killed in clashes between Congress and TMC workers in Baligram, Murshidabad in West Bengal, ANI reported on Tuesday as Indians vote in 3rd phase of polls.

Earlier in the day as well there were some reports of violence during polls in Bengal, 2 women voters were injured when a bomb went off in another area of Bengal's Murshidabad.
"Two women voters were injured in an alleged incident of bombing in Murshidabad's Domkal area near a polling booth. Both of them have been hospitalized and we have sought a report on the matter from the district magistrate. No one has been arrested or detained in the case so far," the official said.
The Election Commission has deployed 324 companies of central forces to cover over 92 per cent of the 8,528 polling booths in the five seats.
