Flavio Bolsonaro, Lula headed to runoff in Brazil election, Datafolha projects

Right-wing ‌Senator Flavio Bolsonaro ​and leftist President ‌Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva are headed to ‌a runoff in ‌Brazil's presidential election, pollster Datafolha projected on Sunday.

With ⁠64.81% ​of ⁠ballots tallied, Bolsonaro had ⁠49.58% of the valid ​votes -- which exclude blank ⁠and null ballots -- in ⁠the first ​round against Lula's 42.25%, according ⁠to the country's electoral authority.
