Shiv Sena appoints Priyanka Chaturvedi as 'Upneta' of the party

Priyanka Chaturvedi has been appointed as the "Upneta" of the Shiv Sena today. After joining Shiv Sena, former Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi attended various event for the party along with Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray.

Earlier on 19th of April Priyanka Chaturvedi joined Shiv Sena after leaving Congress party. Chaturvedi said she left the Congress after being upset over the reinstatement of party workers who misbehaved with her.

Chaturvedi earlier puts end to the rumours that she quit after being denied Lok Sabha ticket. Shiv Sena chief Thackeray said Shiv Sena workers have got a "good sister" as Chaturvedi.

The Uddhav Thackeray-led party is contesting three out of total six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai in alliance with the BJP, which is in the fray from the rest three seats.
