President Kovind tweets about first Rafale delivery after political controversy

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has assured that the government is working rapidly to modernise armed forces of India while also assuring that delivery of first Rafale fighter aircraft and Apache helicopters will be received in "near future".

Rafale aircraft deal became a huge controversy during Lok Sabha elections in India after opposition termed it a "huge scam" and alleged widespread corruption by the ruling BJP government.
