Ursula von der Leyen, appointed by EU leaders as the next head of the bloc's executive, will travel to the bloc's political hub on Thursday, an official said.
A spokeswoman for the European Commission said von der Leyen would meet the outgoing head of the executive, Jean-Claude Juncker, at 0830 GMT.
