It was a sunny Monday morning here in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.

"The sky will remain mainly clear in the morning but towards the afternoon, it is expected to get partly cloudy with no possibility of rain," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, adding the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 95 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was settled at 25.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
