Magnitude 7 earthquake strikes Vanuatu region - USGS

A magnitude 7 earthquake struck the Vanuatu region in the South Pacific on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) below the Earth's surface, USGS said.
