Launch preparations for NASA's Boeing Crew Flight Test, which will carry NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to and from the International Space Station, are moving in full swing.

The astronaut duo recently completed a start-to-finish mission dress rehearsal for the upcoming test. During the dress rehearsal, Wilmore and Williams completed a series of launch day milestones including suiting up, working in a flight deck simulator, and operating the same software that will be used during the launch.

The mission will launch NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on Boeing's Starliner on a ULA Atlas V rocket. The launch is set for 10:34 p.m. EDT on Monday, May 6, from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The Starliner is scheduled to dock with the ISS's Harmony module at 12:48 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

NASA will provide live coverage of prelaunch and launch activities on NASA+, NASA Television, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency’s website.

After completing this test, NASA will move forward with the final certification of the Starliner transportation system for rotational missions to the orbiting laboratory for the agency’s Commercial Crew Program.
