Rajasthan Sizzles Under Intense Heat Wave, Temperatures Surge Across Major Cities

Rajasthan experienced a significant rise in temperatures across most parts of the state on Monday. Major cities recorded above-normal maximum temperatures, with Ganganagar being the hottest at 46.5 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department has forecast further temperature increases and continued dry weather in the coming days.

Rajasthan faced a severe heat wave on Monday, with temperatures rising by one to two notches across most parts of the state, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD has projected a further temperature increase, with dry weather conditions expected to persist in the coming days.

Ganganagar recorded the highest temperature in the state at 46.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Sangaria at 46 degrees Celsius. Other major cities including Pilani, Churu, and Vanasthali also reported exceptionally high temperatures above 44 degrees Celsius.
