Colliers Champions Sustainability: Remarkable Progress in 2023

Colliers has released its fourth Global Sustainability Report highlighting significant achievements in climate action, inclusive workplaces, and health. Key milestones include a 24.8% reduction in emissions, increased female representation in management, and expanded WELL Health-Safety ratings. Colliers continues to foster sustainable and responsible practices in collaboration with stakeholders worldwide.

In a commitment to a sustainable future, Colliers has unveiled its fourth Global Sustainability Report, detailing noteworthy advances in climate action, inclusive environments, and health standards. Highlights from 2023 encompass a 24.8% drop in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, validated emission targets by the Science Based Targets initiative, and a rise in female management roles to 33.5%.

Colliers has also achieved WELL Health-Safety ratings in 35% of its offices exceeding 2,500 square feet and tripled the number of electric vehicles in their fleet, among other feats. The company's Chairman, Sankey Prasad, emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions across geographies and business sectors, reinforcing their dedication to long-term asset value and ESG principles.

In India, Colliers implemented energy-efficient workplace designs, regular energy audits, and collaboration with NGOs. Badal Yagnik, CEO of Colliers India, reiterated the global real estate sector's role in carbon emissions and the need for sustainable practices. The report adheres to GRI, SASB, and TCFD standards, ensuring robust governance in its sustainability initiatives.
