Tigress Welcomes Trio of Cubs in Gwalior Zoo

A tigress named Durga has given birth to three cubs, one of which is white, at Gandhi Prani Udyan zoo in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The cubs and their mother are currently in isolation under National Tiger Conservation Authority guidelines. This brings the zoo's tiger count to nine.

Currently, the cubs and their mother are being closely monitored in isolation, following the National Tiger Conservation Authority's guidelines, zoo in-charge Upendra Yadav informed reporters on Saturday.

With this addition, the number of tigers at the zoo, managed by the Gwalior Municipal Corporation, has increased to nine, comprising six adults and three new cubs, Yadav added.
