Tragic Landslide Claims Lives of Devotees in Uttarakhand's Kedarnath Route
Three devotees lost their lives and eight others were injured in a landslide near the Kedarnath Dham trekking route in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. The State Disaster Response Force and other teams initiated search and rescue operations immediately. The injured were hospitalized, and efforts are underway to ensure their recovery.

Three devotees died and eight others were injured in a tragic landslide on the Kedarnath Dham trekking route in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district on Sunday, officials confirmed.
Nandan Singh Rajwar, District Disaster Management Officer, said the accident occurred around 7:30 am near Chirbasa on the Gaurikund-Kedarnath route, with falling stones and debris triggering the calamity.
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and other disaster management teams quickly arrived at the scene to begin rescue operations, aiming to locate and assist the affected individuals. The identified deceased are Kishore Arun Parate (31) from Nagpur, Sunil Mahadev Kale (24) from Jalna, and Anurag Bisht from Rudraprayag.
