Tragic Construction Accident in Ghosia Village

Two men, Pankaj and Girdhari, were killed and three others injured after coming in contact with a high-tension wire during the construction of a water tank in Ghosia village. The accident occurred when iron rods being lifted by workers touched an overhead electric wire. The injured are currently hospitalized.

Two men were killed and three others injured when they came into contact with a high-tension wire during the construction of a water tank in Ghosia village, Sarai Akil Police Station area, on Sunday.

According to Station House Officer Vineet Singh, the incident occurred as some iron rods being lifted by workers touched an overhead electric wire. The victims, identified as Pankaj, 26, and Girdhari, 29, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

Three other workers, including Omveer, are still undergoing treatment. All the victims are from Bareilly district.
