Tragic Fire in Tikamgarh: Two Lives Lost in Blaze

In the early hours of Wednesday, a disastrous fire engulfed a residential building in Tikamgarh's Katra Bazaar, leading to the tragic deaths of Devendra Jain and his wife Sulochana. The fire, suspected to be caused by a short circuit, still raged on despite multiple fire-tenders' efforts.

Early Wednesday, a devastating fire tore through a residential building in Tikamgarh's densely-populated Katra Bazaar, tragically killing two people, police reported.

A home furnishings shop owned by Manoj Jain, situated in the residential building, caught fire. Although Jain managed to escape, his uncle Devendra Jain and aunt Sulochana were tragically charred to death. Witnesses say that pedestrians and locals gathered to alert Jain, aiding his escape.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, though a short circuit is suspected. Despite the relentless efforts of five fire-tenders, including those from neighboring towns, the fire remains uncontrollable even after six hours.
