Swift Action Saves Lives: Kirtinagar Fire Rescue

A fire broke out in a residential building in Kirtinagar, prompting a swift evacuation by the Delhi Fire Services. The incident, which started at around 8.40 am, spread to electric meters and panel boards. Ten people were successfully rescued without any reported injuries.

A fire erupted in a Kirtinagar residential building on Wednesday, leading to the evacuation of ten residents, according to Delhi Fire Services officials. A call about the fire was received at 8.40 am, and two fire tenders were dispatched immediately, stated a senior DFS officer.

The fire extended to several electric meters, electricity panel boards, and two scooters, the officer added. Fortunately, the quick response from fire service personnel ensured that the situation was brought under control efficiently.

'Our officers safely rescued 10 individuals from different floors. The building consists of stilt parking and three floors,' the officer reported. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
