Three individuals, including a woman, riding a motorbike were swept away by the overflowing Gagron bridge into the Kalisindh river in Jhalawar district on Thursday afternoon, according to police reports.
The incident occurred around 4 pm as the trio ventured across the submerged bridge, stated Mandawar Police Station SHO Mahaveer Prasad.
Their identities remain unknown, but a search operation was promptly initiated. As of the evening, none had been found, he added.
Earlier in the day, an old wall collapsed in Baran district, slightly injuring three family members. The wall, part of a house under construction in Khajurpura area, gave way around 6.30 am, per Baran City Police Station Circle Inspector Ramvilas.
The injured were working near cattle when the wall fell. Moderate to heavy rains hit the Kota region early Thursday, with intermittent drizzles providing relief from humidity but disrupting daily life.
