A family of four was rescued near Padavetti Kunnu on the fourth day, offering hope as the rescue mission accelerates. With 201 confirmed deaths and 264 injured, the toll is expected to climb as bodies are found under the debris.

District officials confirm genetic testing is being used to identify recovered body parts. Over 40 rescue teams are conducting operations across six zones, with additional focus on the Chaliyar river.
