Tragic Mud House Collapse in Chhattisgarh Claims Lives

A couple was killed and their son injured after their mud house collapsed in Chhattisgarh's Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district due to incessant rainfall. The incident occurred early Sunday while the family was asleep. The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Vakre and his wife Sharda. Their son is being treated for injuries.

A tragic incident unfolded in Chhattisgarh's Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district as a couple lost their lives and their minor son was injured following the collapse of their mud house due to heavy rainfall.

Authorities reported that the collapse occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Ramgarh village, located under the Pendra police station jurisdiction, while the family was fast asleep.

The deceased were identified as Dinesh Vakre, in his late 40s, and his wife Sharda. Their 8-year-old son, who sustained injuries, was rushed to a hospital in Gaurela. A police probe into the incident is currently underway.
