A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal's Taplejung district on Sunday. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The National Earthquake Monitoring Centre reported the tremor's epicentre was Ankhop and it was felt in the neighbouring Panchthar district.
A 4.2 magnitude earthquake shook the Taplejung district in eastern Nepal on Sunday, according to authorities.
No immediate reports of casualties or damage were received, officials said.
The National Earthquake Monitoring Centre identified Ankhop as the epicentre. The tremor, recorded at 4:04 PM, also affected the nearby Panchthar district.
