Tragic Drowning Incident in Outer Delhi

Two children, aged 9 and 15, tragically drowned in a rainwater-filled pond in outer Delhi's Prem Nagar after an evening downpour. Four children from a nearby colony had ventured to the pond, but two went too deep and drowned. Their bodies were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for post mortem.

In a tragic incident, two children aged 9 and 15 drowned in a rainwater-filled pond in outer Delhi's Prem Nagar area following heavy rain on Friday evening, according to local police.

Authorities report that four children from a nearby colony had ventured to the pond in Rani Khera village after the downpour. Unfortunately, two of them ventured too deep into the water and subsequently drowned.

Their bodies were retrieved and transported to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for post mortem examination, as per police sources.
