Punjab and Haryana Receive Much-Needed Rainfall Relief

Heavy rainfall provided respite from humid conditions in Punjab and Haryana. Mohali, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Rupnagar, Ambala, and more regions experienced significant rainfall. Pathankot received 82 mm of rain, while Ambala in Haryana recorded 83.8 mm in the past 24 hours ending at 8:30 am as per the meteorological department.

Rains lashed various regions of Punjab and Haryana on Sunday, offering much-needed relief from the oppressive humid conditions.

Major cities including Mohali, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Rupnagar, and Ambala recorded considerable rainfall. Pathankot received 82 mm, Gurdaspur 68.8 mm, and Amritsar 57.6 mm in the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 am, according to a meteorological department report.

In Haryana, Ambala recorded a substantial 83.8 mm of rain, followed by Karnal with 36.8 mm, Sirsa with 20 mm, and Hisar with 6 mm. Chandigarh, the shared capital of both states, saw 28.8 mm of rainfall.
