Tragic Fire in Delhi's Sonia Vihar: One Dead in Godown Blaze

One person was killed in a fire that erupted at a firecracker godown in northeast Delhi's Sonia Vihar area early Monday, according to officials.
The incident took place at Chauhan Patti in Gali Number 1 of Sonia Vihar at 4 am. A Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officer stated that five fire tenders were dispatched, taking two hours to extinguish the blaze.
The charred body of the presumed caretaker was discovered on the premises. Authorities believe the godown was illegal, and have registered a case under relevant sections, with efforts to apprehend the tenant Javed ongoing.
