Tragic Building Collapse in Malad East Leaves Two Dead, Two Injured

Two labourers lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries after a section of a slab at an under-construction building in Malad East tragically collapsed on Thursday afternoon, according to civic officials.

The incident took place around 12:10 pm in the Govind Nagar area. As per initial reports, a portion of the top floor slab of the 20-storey under-construction building gave way, a civic official stated. The injured were immediately transported to M W Desai Hospital, where doctors pronounced two of the labourers dead. The condition of the other two injured individuals is still awaited.
