India's First Green Hydrogen Valley Project Launched in Pune

Gensol Engineering, in partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd, has secured an order to establish India's first green hydrogen valley project in Pune. Facilitated by National Chemicals Laboratories, the initiative will support the green hydrogen economy by supplying green hydrogen to the specialty chemical sector.

Gensol Engineering, in collaboration with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd, has announced the launch of India's first green hydrogen valley project in Pune.

The project will involve the setup of a green hydrogen production plant through electrolysis on a Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis, as per a BSE filing.

'The Government of India has made significant strides in promoting hydrogen valleys via the Department of Science & Technology (DST). We will be supplying green hydrogen round the clock to the specialty chemical sector in Pune, Maharashtra, aiding in the development of India's green hydrogen economy,' said Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering.

The project is facilitated by National Chemicals Laboratories (NCL) in the Kurkumbh region.

Gensol Engineering is a key player in renewable energy, focusing on solar EPC and electric mobility solutions. Matrix Gas & Renewables is an emerging developer in green hydrogen infrastructure and natural gas aggregation.
