An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was recorded in Maharashtra's Amravati district on Monday afternoon, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
No casualties or property damage have been reported, as stated by Amravati's Resident Deputy Collector Anil Bhatkar.
The quake, which struck at 1.37 pm, was felt in Chikaldhara, Katkumbh, Churni, Pachdongri talukas, Melghat area, as well as parts of Paratwada city and Dharni in Akot, Bhatkar added.
