Several shops, including a three-story building, were engulfed in flames, and numerous vehicles, such as a JCB, were destroyed. The financial loss is estimated to be in crores.

Police and district officials quickly responded to manage the crowd. The fire took four brigade vehicles two hours to subdue. Investigations are underway to pinpoint the cause of the incident.
