The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation is embarking on an ambitious project to build a theme park with its CSR funds, officials revealed on Friday. The park aims to combine leisure and learning, offering a range of innovative facilities for the community.

Energy Minister K J George and Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre jointly initiated the project's foundation, set to be near the KPTCL station in HBR Layout's 5th Block. Estimated at Rs 4.65 crore, this undertaking will feature a training center, facilities promoting rural games, and an open-air theatre, among others.

Alongside, refurbishment plans for the Hennur Biodiversity Park are underway, with Rs 2.75 crore allocated for its transformation. The initiatives highlight a strategic fusion of educational value and community engagement, set to uplift local infrastructure and quality of life.
