Tragedy Strikes Narela: Two Sanitation Workers Die in Sewer Incident

In a tragic incident in Delhi's Narela, two sanitation workers lost their lives due to toxic fume inhalation while cleaning a sewer. A third worker, battling for his life, was critically injured on Friday afternoon.

The event, which occurred near Mansha Devi Apartments, Pocket 6, saw workers Vijay Mochi and Nandu succumb to asphyxiation. Their overseer, Anil Kumar, who attempted a rescue, also collapsed and is currently hospitalized, receiving treatment and unable to provide a statement.

Employed by a private company, the workers faced fatal conditions during their assignment. Police have registered a case as further investigations continue to unravel the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate mishap.
