Tragedy at Jafrabad: Unfortunate Incident at Construction Site

In a grave incident at Jafrabad tehsil, five labourers lost their lives after a sand-laden tipper truck accidentally discharged its load on a temporary shed.

The shed, housing sleeping workers at a bridge project site, collapsed due to the unexpected weight of sand in the early hours of Saturday.

The truck driver, oblivious to the workers' presence, fled the scene. While a girl and a woman were rescued from under the debris, police have identified some of the deceased, and efforts are underway to find the driver.
