Union Minister Piyush Goyal dismissed claims that Punjab farmers are responsible for Delhi's pollution as 'ridiculous.' Addressing an event by IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he urged stakeholders to rethink these conclusions and focus on actual pollution causes like construction and vehicle emissions.

Goyal, in charge of commerce and industry, promoted electric mobility and precast construction as viable solutions to combat urban air pollution. Highlighting their economic advantages, he called on businesses to transition to electric vehicles and adopt precast methods for construction.

The minister questioned why cities like Dubai or Singapore maintain cleaner environments compared to Indian cities, urging collective responsibility and decisive actions to improve air quality.
