Avalanche Traps BRO Labourers Near India-Tibet Border
An avalanche trapped 57 Border Roads Organisation labourers near Mana village in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. The camp was buried between Mana and Badrinath. Mana is the last village on the India-Tibet border, situated at 3,200 meters. Rescue teams are on their way amid harsh weather conditions.

An avalanche has left 57 labourers of the Border Roads Organisation trapped near the border village of Mana in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, officials reported on Friday.
The incident occurred when the avalanche buried a camp situated between Mana and Badrinath, according to Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari.
Rescue teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are en route as the area continues to experience snowfall and rain.
