Rescue Mission in SLBC Tunnel Tragedy

Rescue teams have been working tirelessly for over two weeks to rescue eight trapped workers in the SLBC tunnel. One body has been recovered from 10 feet beneath the silt. Efforts are ongoing in coordination with NDRF, Singareni Collieries Ltd., and other experts to extricate the remaining workers.

In a challenging rescue operation at the SLBC tunnel, one worker's body has been retrieved amidst efforts to save eight trapped men. Teams have been persevering for more than two weeks to reach those snared beneath the collapsed structure.

A concerted effort involving the NDRF, Indian Army, Navy, Singareni Collieries Ltd., and other entities continues unabated. Rescuers are deploying painstaking tactics, including the use of cadaver dogs, to locate and reach the remaining workers buried beneath the debris.

The body, found 10 feet under silt, has been sent to Nagarkurnool civil hospital for further examination and identity confirmation. Search operations are proceeding as authorities strive for a breakthrough in this challenging task.
