Jammu Development Authority's Bold Land Reclamation Drive Reclaims Prime Land

The Jammu Development Authority (JDA) made a bold move on Tuesday, launching a large-scale anti-encroachment drive that reclaimed prime land worth crores of rupees near Jammu city, according to officials.

Spearheaded by Garbi Rashid, director of land management, with Vice Chairman Pankaj Kumar Sharma's directive, the operation demolished numerous illegal structures, recovering 25 kanals of unlawfully occupied land. This initiative garnered strong support from residents concerned about land misuse.

Strict actions will be enforced against any future encroachers, with JDA ensuring proper land utilization through fencing and monitoring efforts. The authority urged public cooperation in avoiding illegal land occupation.
