In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Kartavya Bhavan on Wednesday, marking the first launch among ten upcoming Common Central Secretariat buildings. These are intended to streamline governmental operations by uniting ministries under one roof.
The newly opened Kartavya Bhavan-03 will accommodate key ministries, including Home Affairs and External Affairs, with modern facilities intended to replace outdated government infrastructure.
This initiative is part of the grand Central Vista redevelopment project, which also includes a new Parliament building. The government aims to complete the remaining buildings over the next few years, enhancing administrative efficiency.
