On a significant day for Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-II. The event, held in Rohini, Sector-37, was marked by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's sharp comments targeting past administrations for hindering development in the national capital.
Gupta praised Modi's leadership while criticizing previous governments for failing to implement central schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana fully. She articulated that past leaders focused on self-interest rather than public goods, hindering the capital's infrastructure growth despite the central government's significant contributions.
The newly inaugurated roadworks, including the 10.1 km stretch of the Dwarka Expressway, promise to enhance connectivity. The developments, built with a focus on recycling and sustainability, aim to relieve traffic and increase industrial connections, bolstering the pace and scope of urban progress in and around Delhi.
