Tragic House Collapse in Bindki: A Family's Loss Amidst Heavy Rain

Heavy rain led to a tragic incident in Bindki, where a family lost three members as the roof of their house collapsed. Three were killed, including Mukesh Kumar, his mother, and wife, while four others were injured. An investigation is ongoing as survivors receive medical attention.

In a heart-rending incident in the Bindki area, three family members lost their lives when the roof of their house collapsed during heavy rain, police reported on Monday.

The tragedy struck at 4 am in Hardauli village, leading to the immediate deaths of Mukesh Kumar, aged 50, and his 85-year-old mother, Madhuri. Ranno Devi, Mukesh's 47-year-old wife, succumbed to her injuries later during treatment, while their three daughters and a son sustained injuries and are being treated at the district hospital.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Bindki), Pragati Yadav, confirmed that a structural failure due to relentless rain caused the collapse. She announced that post-mortems of the deceased have been conducted and a thorough investigation has been launched.
