A significant fire erupted in several automobile spare parts and scrap material shops in Mumbai's Kurla area during the early hours of Monday, according to officials. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
The fire was reported at 2:42 AM in 15 to 20 shops located near a gurdwara on CST Road in Kurla (West), officials stated. The blaze was initially confined to stocks of automobile spare parts, electric wiring, tyres, and scrap material.
With at least four fire engines, 10 jumbo water tankers, and several other fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene, firefighting operations were effectively underway to control the flames.
