Andhra Pradesh Braces for Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a spell of inclement weather for Andhra Pradesh, expecting heavy rains and thunderstorms from October 14 to 18.

The forecast indicates that the South Coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) and Rayalaseema regions will receive significant downpours. Thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning, are anticipated over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, SCAP, and Rayalaseema.

Authorities have issued advisories for residents, stressing the importance of safety by avoiding shelter under trees or large structures during the storms.
