The weather office has issued a 'yellow' warning advising caution for several districts in Odisha on Tuesday and Wednesday due to potential weather disturbances.

The low-pressure system, formed from Monday’s upper air cyclonic circulation, is positioned over the southwest Bay of Bengal as of 5:30 am on Tuesday. It is poised to intensify further and affect the southwest and west-central Bay of Bengal. Odisha is likely to experience light-to-moderate rainfall, alongside thunderstorms with gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph in certain districts, including Puri and Nayagarh, until Wednesday morning.
