Gujarat's Road Revolution: High-Speed Corridors for a Developed India

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel allocates ₹5,576 crore to develop nine high-speed corridors, improving traffic efficiency. Total allocation reaches ₹7,737 crore for 124 projects, enhancing the road infrastructure for a developed India. New technologies will make roads climate-resilient, eco-friendly, covering over 1,367 km.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced a significant investment in the state's road infrastructure, with ₹5,576 crore earmarked for nine high-speed corridors covering 809 km. The move aims to alleviate congestion and ensure safer travel.

According to government sources, the allocation forms part of a larger commitment of ₹7,737 crore to 124 projects under the Garvi Gujarat initiative. This ambitious plan includes the development of crucial transport routes to bolster the state's road network.

In addition, Patel's administration has dedicated ₹1,147 crore to integrate climate-resilient and advanced technologies for sustainable road construction, along with ₹986 crore for surface improvements over 803 km. These efforts are in line with the state's bid to develop a robust, environmentally-friendly transport infrastructure.
